Dennis Hammonds, Managing Partner
Dennis has over 30 years of experience in supply chain management ranging from sales and business development to director and executive level logistical management responsibilities for multi-billion dollar corporations. He has extensive experience in managing corporate level transportation functions, warehouse operations and supply chain activities.
In addition to corporate management experience, Dennis has several years of experience with a major 3PL as a Project General Manager. He has managed projects for various Fortune 500 companies including consumer goods, automotive, consumer electronics and major international retailers. Dennis holds a Graduate degree from Georgia State University, and post graduate work in finance and accounting from Golden Gate University. .
R. W. (Rocky) Lane, Managing Partner
Rocky has been an active participant in the logistics industry for 30 years. His background includes director and executive level positions with LTL, truckload, intermodal, private fleets, warehousing and computer based systems development. Rocky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Transportation and Distribution from Golden Gate University.
Rocky has a keen ability to discern the essential from the window dressing and what works best for each individual client. Rocky focuses on developing the best solution for clients without a preprogrammed bias towards a particular product or brand. Rocky has extensive experience with national leaders in food, retail, packaging, and raw materials.
Rocky believes that the best answer for a HERITAGE LOGISTICS GROUP client may be the "$2 nail rather than the $10 hammer."
