Heritage Logistics supply chain project design, management & implementation

HLG uses any number of tools such as CAPS, Opti Site, and other project management tools to provide clients with detailed documentation to ensure complete control of their projects.

HLG has the expertise to assist clients in implementing targeted projects. We work with existing teams, or take the lead; in working to put into practice a client's selected project(s). HLG can handle all facets of a supply chain implementation from design to modeling to activation of a project.

The potential for savings in total logistics cost exists in almost every company, regardless of size or scope of operations. HLG considers the whole supply chain channel in exploring opportunities for both cost and operational efficiencies.

HLG is a firm believer in metrics development such as:

  • Identifying supply chain goals and assigning metrics that best meet corporate goals
  • Process mapping for each of these goals to stay on the corporate mission
  • Creating Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to maintain scope and focus
  • Examine processes and systems that could improve performance
  • Audit results and adjust as needed to stay on target
  • Recommendations are both cross-departmental and cross-functional to ensure maximum effectiveness

HLG can also work with clients to provide RFP (Request for Pricing) and RFP (Request for Proposal) support from conception to review and analysis to implementation. We provide direction and support during the entire RFP/RFQ process to ensure that potential providers are meeting specified goals and directives.

HLG is open to explore all facets of a company's existing logistical operation, either internal or external, to determine if goals and efficiencies are being met.
